Manual Hoists

Manual hoists use a system of gears to increase the force exerted by the machine operator exponentially and thus lift very heavy loads more quickly and safely.
While the manual chain hoist is capable of handling large loads, it moves at a fairly slow operating speed. This feature means that it is used purely for occasional lifting jobs, such as in the event of repairs to heavy equipment, maintenance outside or inside, or where there is no access to a power supply.
